HELP SEND MORE LIFESAVING PACEMAKERS TO CUBA NOW!
HELP SEND MORE LIFESAVING PACEMAKERS TO CUBA NOW!
Global Health Partners is building on our successful drive to supply Cuban hospitals with pacemakers for patients with heart disease. This is a crucial campaign to save lives now: Cuba has a dire shortage of pacemakers, leaving patients with a three-year wait for these devices. The U.S. embargo prevents the country from purchasing pacemakers in the global market, and Cuba urgently needs 2,000 pacemakers to treat its heart patients.
THESE DESPERATELY ILL CUBAN PATIENTS WON’T SURVIVE UNLESS WE SEND HELP NOW! PLEASE JOIN US TO RAISE AN ADDITIONAL $150,000 TO PROVIDE CUBA ANOTHER URGENT SUPPLY OF PACEMAKERS WITHIN THE NEXT 90 DAYS.
Thanks to your support, GHP and our partner organizations MediCuba Europa and the Saving Lives Campaign have already delivered 440 pacemakers to Cuban hospitals, with 110 more units on the way. These lifesaving devices are already being implanted in Cuban’s with heart disease.
You can save lives today with your tax-deductible gift to put pacemakers in the hands of Cuba’s dedicated doctors. “As you can imagine,” Dr. Omar Orazco of Cuba’s Health Ministry told GHP, “their suffering and critical situation are causing extreme distress to their families, and to the medical personnel who stand ready but are unable to help them.”
Global Health Partners will put your donation to work immediately to combat the inhumane embargo that is increasingly inflicting hunger and hardship on the Cuban people. Together, we’ll speed a humanitarian shipment of pacemakers that will save lives and pierce the cruel medical embargo. You can make a donation online now by filling out the donation form on this page.
You can also mail checks payable to Global Health Partners, with the memo Pacemakers, at 39 Broadway, Suite 1540, New York, NY 10006.
LET’S SHOW THE HARD-PRESSED CUBAN PEOPLE OUR FRIENDSHIP, SOLIDARITY AND COMPASSION IN THE FACE OF TRUMP’S PUNITIVE, TIGHTENING EMBARGO!
