GHP has played a vital role in movements for peace, social justice and human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean for 40 years. Despite the pandemic, we’re sustaining and building our medical projects in the region, while working to end the U.S. embargo against Cuba once and for all. We’ll put your donation to work immediately to build our partnerships that strengthen public health systems, deliver scarce, vital medicine and medical supplies, and campaign for a just U.S. policy in Cuba and throughout Latin America.

GHP has already delivered more than $190 million worth of desperately needed medicines and medical supplies to Cuba while helping to build broad-based opposition to Washington’s illegal and immoral embargo. Now, we’re spearheading a massive campaign to provide Cuba with 5 million syringes for vaccination against Covid. And we’re pressing the Biden administration to finally end the embargo.

In Nicaragua, we’ve delivered more than $90 million worth of medicine and helped design a national cervical cancer prevention, screening and treatment program. GHP is working with the Ministry of Health to provide safe drinking water and essential medicines to the Nicaraguan people. And we’re partnering with local NGOs to support programs for children with disabilities and environmental protection.

In Bolivia and El Salvador, we’re working with the Health Ministries to develop grassroots programs that provide vital medicines, medical supplies, and training.

With your generous and solidarity, GHP will make an even stronger impact on the health of struggling people in Latin America’s poorest communities. Thank you for your tax-deductible gift, and for your friendship, compassion and encouragement for our work!
